Mel C. Clemmons is known as one of the best and brightest talents with great accomplishments in business and finance of this decade. Growing up in a small town southeast of Knoxville, Tennessee called Harriman, Mel was born to an educating professional and a Real Estate entrepreneur. After graduating from Harriman High School in 1993 with a full academic scholarship to the University of Tennessee, Mel attended college full-time and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics. Immediately, he resumed his college studies and pursued the educational field, and completed his college career graduating Magna Cum Laude with a Master of Science Degree in Education from the University of Tennessee in 1998.
After teaching school for several years Mel opened Clemmons Insurance Agencies and has evolved as one of the most successful insurance professionals in the state of Georgia. Partnering with other business and financial executives, Mel also became a member and facilitated the launch of a successful consulting firm, SAMM Staffing & Consulting, becoming a successful intermediary of business consulting. Today, Mel has successfully facilitated and closed over $80 Million in business premium as intermediary with SAMM Consulting; and, he is referred to as one who exudes a great understanding of business, and a financial expert for unique business partnerships that expand across various industries.
Paying his blessings forward, Mel and his wife Stephanie co-founded the Superheroes Foundation in 2012; providing numerous grants to aspiring entrepreneurs and offering scholarships to High School Seniors.
Now Mel has added motivational speaking and business coaching to ensure he reaches his life mission of motivating 1000 brand new entrepreneurs. Thru the SuperHeroes Foundation and SAMM CONSULTING he has helped create and motivate scores of new business owners. Mel has also authored several published articles to help other business professionals capture their goals. Thru hard work and faith he will accomplish his life mission of helping families prosper by creating new businesses one by one.
